FilmTec™ 150 GPD Seawater Reverse Osmosis Membrane (SW30-2514)

$264.95

The FilmTec™ SW30-2514 is a high-performance seawater reverse osmosis element designed to provide a reliable source of potable water from high-salinity marine environments. As a core desalination component for specialized DRD configurations, this membrane utilizes advanced polyamide thin-film composite chemistry to handle the high osmotic pressures required for seawater treatment. Engineered with a durable fiberglass outer shell, the SW30-2514 provides the structural integrity necessary to withstand operating pressures of up to 1,000 PSI. This membrane is recognized for its industry-leading salt rejection and high productivity, maintaining a 99.4% stabilized rejection rate while delivering one of the highest flow rates available for small-scale desalinators. Its robust design ensures consistent performance and long-term durability, making it an essential asset for maritime operations, island communities, and coastal disaster relief infrastructure.

Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions. We have answers.
What is the Hydronamis Disaster Relief Device (DRD)?

The Disaster Relief Device (DRD) is a mobile, field-ready utility station that provides two critical life-sustaining resources: clean drinking water and renewable power. Designed for disaster response, humanitarian aid, remote operations, and off-grid applications, the DRD is fully operational upon arrival and requires minimal setup.

The Hydronamis DRD secures your family’s absolute peace of mind by solving the two most critical threats of any disaster: total loss of electricity and the contamination of or loss of running water. Following a major catastrophe like a hurricane, local fuel stations shut down, making gasoline, diesel, and propane non-existent and impossible to source. The DRD bypasses this resource bottleneck entirely by functioning as a 100% self-sustaining, solar-powered survival hub. It is engineered to independently support a family for months at a time, powering critical devices while providing safe water for drinking, cooking, and bathing, until municipal infrastructure is slowly restored.

Yes. Financing is available through Affirm. Eligibility, interest rates, and monthly payment options are determined by Affirm and may vary based on customer qualifications.

Output varies by model and water conditions. The DRD is available in configurations capable of producing approximately 150 – 450 gallons of drinking water per day from contaminated surface water sources.

No. The DRD is designed to provide power for critical loads rather than serve as a whole-home backup system. It can support essential equipment such as refrigeration, communications, medical devices, lighting, and small appliances during outages or off-grid operation.

High-demand appliances such as central air conditioning, electric heating systems, water heaters, electric ranges, and clothes dryers are generally beyond the intended scope of the system. Available power will also depend on operating conditions and daily water production requirements, as water purification consumes a portion of the system’s generated energy.

The DRD can support approximately 225 people at 2 gallons per person per day, or up to 450 people at 1 gallon per person per day in a 450 GPD configuration. It can also provide essential power for communications, lighting, and select medical equipment depending on system load.

The DRD is designed to purify a wide range of surface water sources, including rivers, lakes, ponds, floodwater, ditches, brackish water, and seawater (model dependent).

The DRD is built around three core advantages: sustainability, operational independence, and rapid deployment in remote and infrastructure-limited environments.

Its integrated design combines water purification and renewable power in a single compact, weatherized platform, reducing the need for multiple separate systems and complex setup procedures. The system is engineered to be fully operational within seconds of arrival, without the need for extensive component installation or skilled technicians.

Our optional MBBR bio-reactor technology enhances sustainability by reducing maintenance requirements and extending cartridge/membrane lifespan, severing dependence on fragile supply chains.

The DRD is a rapid-response system built for speed and accessibility. Its compact design enables deployment in locations where traditional trailer-based or containerized systems cannot operate or reach, delivering critical resources in time-sensitive challenging environments.

Yes, in the vast majority of cases. The DRD qualifies for a 0% sales tax rate year-round in 14 states due to permanent clean-energy and disaster-preparedness laws. Furthermore, if you are shipping to any of the remaining 36 states where Hydronamis operates below the state’s annual economic nexus threshold, you are legally protected under “Remote Seller” status. This means most of our buyers see an automatic $0.00 sales tax line item at checkout.

Economic nexus thresholds, tax collection obligations, and state regulations may change without notice and vary by jurisdiction. Any sales tax treatment displayed at checkout is determined by current software settings and applicable regulations at the time of purchase. We strongly recommend consulting a certified public accountant (CPA), tax professional, or qualified attorney regarding your specific tax obligations and circumstances.

Yes, nationwide. Under Section 25D of the Internal Revenue Code, residential battery storage systems must have a capacity of 3 kilowatt-hours (kWh) or greater to qualify. Because the DRD integrates a premium 5.4 kWh LiFePO4 internal battery storage system, US taxpayers can claim a 26% Residential Clean Energy Credit on their federal tax return using IRS Form 5695 to significantly lower the net cost of the device, subject to current IRS regulations and individual eligibility.

System Configuration Retail Price 26% Federal Tax Credit Actual Net Cost
Base Configuration $17,925.00 -$4,660.50 $13,264.50
Top-Tier Configuration $25,920.00 -$6,739.20 $19,180.80

Individual eligibility depends entirely on your personal tax liability and property status. Because this is a non-refundable tax credit, we strongly recommend consulting a certified public accountant (CPA) or tax professional prior to purchase to confirm how the credit applies to your specific financial situation.
