Valencia College + Hydronamis collaboration
In collaboration with the Valencia College School of Arts, Entertainment & Design – Film Production Technology Program, the Hydronamis team successfully filmed its first high-level promotional video and television commercial, showcasing the wide range of applications and capabilities of the Hydronamis Disaster Relief Device (DRD).
Hydronamis CEO, director, and executive producer of the promotional videos, Dustin Small, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crew of more than 70 staff members, students, and talent who worked tirelessly in the Florida heat to bring his vision for Hydronamis to life.

A full-circle moment
As an alumnus of Valencia’s film program, Small experienced a full-circle moment working hand in hand with former instructors and respected industry film professionals. He welcomed the opportunity to step away from the office for a few days and reconnect with his childhood dream of becoming a film director.
“The Valencia film program is hands down one of the best film production and technology programs in the world. We are incredibly grateful for the support, talent, and dedication from everyone who helped bring our product demo to life. Valencia will always have our gratitude, and we look forward to giving back to the program in the future.
A special thank you to Moe, E.J., Paul, Martin, Jon, Victor, Evan, Rachel, Adi, and all of the incredible students, actors, and professionals involved in both pre- and post-production. Thank you as well to Mr. Mike Logan for allowing us to use your beautiful property, and to Brittany and Clay for the incredible hurricane scene setup. We truly could not have done this without you.”
— Dustin Small, CEO & Founder of Hydronamis LLC
Our mission to deliver renewable power + clean drinking water
The purpose of the multi-day shoot was to raise awareness and further Hydronamis’ global mission. The Hydronamis DRD delivers renewable power and clean drinking water across a wide range of applications.
From disaster relief and humanitarian aid to off-grid camping, remote construction sites, military missions, and hurricane preparedness, our goal was to highlight as many real-world use cases as possible within the Central Florida region, and the Hydronamis team is extremely proud of the final result.
